WANTIJ is the Dutch name for the clash where the TURNING TIDES meet each other.

Are tidal waters dangerous or exciting? It’s your choice.

The heading of sailing on tidal waters is a choice between rowing versus steering. We strongly believe that tidal waters will always challenge us and that we all are sailing on top of the waves through turning tides.

Wantij is also the name of our classic gaff rigged cutter. In 2006 we decided to sell our house and start with our work “WANTIJMEDIA” in our floating studio and floating home.

Our work is our expression of turning tides. During our route we will sometimes fear surfing on tidal waters but we have experienced that it brought us more excitement.

We sail and where our boat is, is our homeland: Always living in turning tides.

We hope we inspire you with our video and photos. Nature is calling and the degeneration of nature now and in the future is one of our fundamental problems. We hope that you will join us in our projects or that you will invite us to work with you.
